 B vitamins, an water soluble vitamin that is essential to health and function of the body. Different B vitamins are responsible for doing different things in the body. Show how do you know what you need and if your are deficient?
 
 Not all Bs are the same. For example B6 turns your food into energy, helps fight infection and is also essential for nursing mothers. Lack of B6 can cause depression, confusion, nausea and even skin rashes. B1 and  B2 also help to convert food into energy. B1 is called thiamin and has neurological benefits. B2 is called riboflavin and I helpful for proper eye sight. B3 helps with healthy digestion, B9 fosters the health of red blood cells, and of course there is B12 which regulates the nervous system.  Being B12 deficient can become serious. In fact vegetarians are most prone to this. Long term deficiency has been linked to depression, dementia, as well as weakness, and fatigue. It’s actually recommended that people who are at risk for B12 deficiency take extra B12 as well as a B complex type vitamins to help support the system.
 
 Who knew these vitamins were so important to maintain proper function of the whole body?! The point is that your B vitamins are vital to health, long term health! So if you are unsure if you need your B's there are ways to find out, blood work! Get it done. Don’t play Russian roulette with your health. Your bodies are to amazing to do that!
